Layton’s death and the probable recovery of my aunt’s remains all at once…
One was a hero from my earliest days as reader and then as amateur writer. The other a close relative and friend. Both were figments of my childhood, influences on my adulthood, and I am sad for both.
I am pleased that an excerpt from the post below was added to the memory blog in Layton’s honour. That my name and his should even be found on the same page is pretty incredible.
My condolences to his family and fans all over Canada and the world.
My fellowship to the children and other relatives of my aunt.
