Yes. My week is THAT scary.
The comp exam: 6 hours of pouring out everything I know about my discipline. If I pass, I live. If I don't... well, they don't kill me, exactly, but they do toss me on my ear. So after ten years of university, this is it. The buck stops here.
And it all takes place in about 8 days.
(Don't worry. Either outcome, you'll hear about it.)
