These days, I have taken to choosing one of the BBC's main online stories and reading all the related stories. Sunday, it was the plight of Tanzania's albinos. A couple of days ago, it was Guatemalan baby snatching. BBC has a helpful little sidebar with all the related stories - I open them all in tabs and read through them. Seems to be a quick way to get a glimpse into an issue and stay connected to the world, even in the midst of baby-and-dissertation isolation.
The Internet can be a good thing, sometimes.
