I just discovered that last week was pay day, and I got nothing, which means I have over a week to wait until I will (supposedly) get a bunch for my marking, etc.
All this means I have to either give all my current money to the rent this week or go into overdraft for it - neither are very attractive options.
"No food until May 6," or "OVERDRAFT HELL"...?
Well, biology comes before economics, and since one can survive overdraft, but I'm pretty sure you die without food, I think we have a winner.
