Off to Toronto today for the launch of my conference career.
Today at 2.30pm, I present "Master of No Domain: American Jewish Males, the TV Sitcom, and the Schnook as Gendered Ethnic Trope" at the University of Toronto's Third Annual Graduate History Symposium, "After the Fall: Sex, Gender and Power."
One of the other women presenting in my session is from Harvard. Today, I feel ballsy, and can only say: Bring it on, Ivy League. Bring it on.
