Listening to the vague strains of a Jerry Fallwell-like telepreacher coming in through the window from the workers' radio outside. Sounds like the construction dudes found Jesus, or are trying to.

"Touchdown Jesus" is No More

I have fond memories of this quite odd (and fairly famous) statue, but tonight the bizarre landmark was struck by lightening and burned down. Not surprizing, since it was made of wood and painted styrofoam on a metal frame.
We'll never forget you, Giant Zombie Jesus Made of Cream Cheese.

Yet Another Reason to Rush to Wal-Mart...

Wal-Mart, possibly one of the most evil entities on the planet, has now started to stock Christian toys from the cheese factory that is One2Believe.
I know we can all roll our eyes and moan about indoctrination, etc, but, really, I think it is just as vile the plain POOR TASTE these awful things will teach children. I guess this is one way to make sure there will be another generation of consumers for those commemorative plates they hock on QBC and in TV Guide inserts, huh?
