Natal Day weekend, as the August long weekend is known in Nova Scotia, comes with fireworks. One year, my mum came up to stay with me and we watched them from my balcony. That was great.
This year, I am celebrating in my own way. A bit of relaxation. And a chat in the rain with a small man wearing pink crocs...
So I guess that will be this year's image. Excellent.
Really, those are ugly shoes. Please stop.
