This morning it was announced that the PMO has revealed the identity of Canada’s new Governor General. In September, the post will be taken up by… (Drum roll)… Michaelle Jean, CBC personality and documentary journalist. You may know her from her work on The Passionate Eye. Well, she’s not Shatner, but I can deal with this.
Here’s to her (and to all the journalists out there looking for their umlaut-like diacritical mark on their keyboards).
